Predator urine is an organic repellent that offers excellent protection without harming animals, people or the environment. We get a lot of questions about using it. Here are some.
Do I have to cover the whole area? NO you do not. The idea is to mimic a predator marking its territory, so a few drops every 5-6 feet is all you need to send the message that a predator is in the area- stay away!
Can I use it inside the house? Not recommended, because well, it smells like urine. Remove animals first, then put down the repellent outside to keep them away.
How is it collected? Our predator urine is collected from animals who are already in captivity, for example, in rescue habitats. The animals are trained to use a certain area of their habitat in which a collection device has been installed. The animals are not interfered with and are completely unaware of their “contribution.”
Will Bobcat urine attract other Bobcats to the area? None of the urines will attract other animals of the same type. Most predators are very territorial, and mark their territories to keep others away. So by using this you will deter not only prey animals, but also other predators.
Hope this encourage you to try a urine repellent if you have pests eating your plants, rummaging through your trash or making off with your chickens.
