Freezing seeds is perfectly fine for the seeds as long as they are dry enough for storage, which means that they should have less than 8% seed moisture. If you are not sure about the seeds’ moisture content, lay them out on a tray for a couple days and let them dry. Once you are positive that they are dry enough, you can freeze them. You can even store them in liquid nitrogen, which is negative 322 degrees Fahrenheit! (It’s okay if you don’t have any liquid nitrogen around, a freezer will do just fine).
