Recently we had a little problem determining which of our canning jars were square and which were round. I thought I’d go ahead and clear up any confusion there may still be.
All of our Bormioli Fido Jars are square, except for the 4 and 5- liter jars which happen to be round.
So, how to choose, how to choose? I would say it’s a pretty easy decision actually, because you should get whatever size jar is necessary for what you’ll be storing in them, such as pasta, cereal, flour, sugar, or cookies! It doesn’t matter what you want them for, you may even actually use them for canning. No matter what, I just want you to know what you are getting because the pictures don’t give you the best idea.
Now that I’ve cleared that up for you, check them out, because they look really cool when you put a couple of them in a kitchen or bathroom (in which case you could store things such as cotton balls, Q-tips, etc.).
The best part about all of our canning jars is that they are made of heavy-duty glass, so they are pretty hard to break. They look very nice on display and the Fido jars have metal latches making them secure when closed yet easy to open.
