		<description>Living on a farm, we have plenty of garden space but not as much time to look after a large garden plot.  I always plant some of my &#039;underground&#039; vegetables&#039; and &#039;above-ground&#039; vegetables in rows together.  Radishes will flourish perfectly well with lettuce, for example.   You just need to take a little extra care when thinning both of them, or when harvesting the radish so you do not dislodge the roots of the plants left in the row.  I don&#039;t mix all vegetables up like this.   Potatoes, for instance get their own space.

A little tip regarding thinning - save what you pull and eat as microgreens.  The small shoots are bursting with flavour and nutrients.</description>
